Tatsiana Barysovich

Tatsiana Barysovich is a student of the College of Music. She was detained on February 22, 2022, when the apartment where she lived with her mother and sister was searched. 

Tatsiana was charged under Art. 342 of the Criminal Code (Organization or active participation in group actions grossly violating public order) and placed in custody.

On May 31, 2022, the trial against Tatsiana and her sister Yana started at the Zavadski District Court of Minsk. On June 1, Judge Aleh Kaliada found both of them guilty and sentenced Yana Barysovich to 2.5 years and Tatsiana Barysovich to 3 years of restricted freedom in an open-type penitentiary.
