On February 4, 2022, the Polack district and Polack city court pronounced the verdict in the criminal case about the desecration of constructions and property damage (Article 341 of the Criminal Code). The accused were Volha Trunava and Sviatlana Firsava.
The court found the women guilty and sentenced them to a fine of 200 basic units (about 1900 US dollars).
On May 19, 2022, Sviatlana Firsava was convicted under part 1 of article 368 of the Criminal Code for comments on the Internet to the video of Aliaksandr Lukashenka's speech, posted back in 2021.
The case was heard by Judge Vladimir Besetsky. The state prosecutor was senior assistant prosecutor Olga Kolosova.
After her detention on March 16, Sviatlana Firsava was placed in Polack temporary detention center and then transferred to Viciebsk pre-trial detention center.
The court found Firsava guilty and sentenced her to two years imprisonment in a general-security penal colony and a 6,400-ruble fine (1900 US dollars) on the first conviction.
