Sviatlana Baranouskaya

Sviatlana Baranouskaya was initially sentenced to three years of home confinement for insulting nine police officers.

Then she was detained on December 14, 2021, together with her daughter Anastasiya Alheryskul. They are accused under Article 342 of the Criminal Code (Organization and preparation of actions that grossly violate public order or active participation in them).

Sviatlana and Anastasiya were placed in pre-trial detention center.

On March 31, 2022, they were sentenced: Sviatlana was found guilty and sentenced to three years of restricted freedom under home confinement, and Anastasiya was sentenced to two years of restricted freedom under home confinement.
