Stanislau Taspayeu was charged with defamation (Article 188 of the Criminal Code). Stanislau has serious health problems. He is disabled and suffers from cancer.
On December 14, 2021, the court found him guilty and sentenced him to 2 years of restricted freedom under home confinement. The case was considered by Judge Alena Misiuk.
He was included in the list of Belarusian citizens, foreign citizens and stateless persons involved in extremist activities.
On October 4, 8, 9 and November 1, Judge Aliaksandr Shutko considered the case under Article 342-2 of the Criminal Code (repeated violation of the order to organize or hold mass events) and Article 369-1 of the Criminal Code (discrediting the Republic of Belarus).
