Siarhei Plonis was detained on October 2, 2020 in Minsk on rioting charges (Part 2 of Article 293 of the Criminal Code).
Palonis was later officially charged.
On July 19, 2021, Judge Dzmitry Astapenka sentenced Plonis to eight years in a medium-security penal colony.
