Siarhei Naliuka is a defendant in the Brest "dancing protest trial" related to the events of September 13, 2020 when the protesters were dispersed by a water cannon.

On May 7, 2021, the Maskoŭski District Court of Brest sentenced Naliuka to two years of restricted freedom in an open penitentiary ("khimiya").

On July 26, the convict began serving his sentence.

On July 21, 2022, the court of Čyhunačny District Court of Viciebsk ruled to upgrade the custody level of the political prisoner. Siarhei Naliuka will be transferred to the colony for 6 months and 1 day until the end of his term.
