Ryhor Mikhalap from Minsk graduated from the School of Mechanics and Mathematics of Belarusian State University. He was arrested on December 7, 2021, as part of a criminal case on group actions grossly violating public order (Article 342 of the Criminal Code). On March 14, 2022, the man was sentenced to two years of restricted freedom in an open-type penitential facility.
He has been serving his sentence since June 4, 2022.
