A 19-year-old soldier was sentenced to one month in the brig for insulting a policeman.

The court hearing in the case of Raman Talochka was held on January 27, 2022.  He was found guilty under Article 369 of the Criminal Code.

The case was considered by Judge Yuliya Krepskaya. The man was found guilty of leaving an insulting comment in one of the Telegram channels on May 7, 2021.

During the trial, Roman fully admitted his guilt and apologized to the victim. It is also known that the defendant compensated the offended policeman for the moral damage. Nevertheless, the judge sentenced him to one month in the brig of the military command. The court decided to confiscate the cell phone as a means of committing the crime.
