Pavel Trafimchuk is 36 years old. He is from Pružany, Brest region. He was convicted under Article 369 of the Criminal Code ('Contempt of a government official') and sentenced to two years and six months of restricted freedom with a referral to an open-type penal facility. Trafimchuk was sent to serve his sentence in open-type penal facility #43 in Mahilioŭ from January 12, 2023.
In the 'repentant' video published by a pro-government channel, Trafimchuk says he was arrested for posting an offensive message about a law enforcement officer on the VKontakte Russian social network in 2021.
