Pavel Salahub was found guilty under Part 1 of Article 342 (organization and preparation of actions that grossly violate public order, or active participation in them) and Part 1 of Article 130 (incitement to hatred) of the Criminal Code. On October 13, 2023, Judge Mikalai Sianko sentenced Pavel to three years of imprisonment in a general-security penal colony. The trial took place at the Brest Regional Court.
On November 10, 2023, Pavel was included in the list of Belarusian citizens, foreign citizens and stateless persons involved in extremist activities.
