Statement on the status of a political prisoner
Pavel Niavyhlas was charged with violating Part 3 of Article 293 of the Criminal Code for publishing instructions on how to make a Molotov cocktail.
In August 2020, the case was considered in the Rasonski District Court of Viciebsk Region in closed session. On July 19, 2023, Judge Alena Yelavaya sentenced Pavel to one year and two months of imprisonment in a general-security penal colony.
On September 22, 2023, Pavel was added to the list of individuals involved in extremist activities, which includes Belarusian citizens, foreign citizens, and stateless persons.
