Palina Kabeshava was detained on May 5, 2022, together with her husband. First, she was sentenced to administrative imprisonment and then taken into custody as part of a criminal case under Article 342 of the Criminal Code (‘group actions that grossly violate public order’).

She was held in pre-trial detention center.

On September 2, 2022, the Frunzienski District Court of Minsk commenced the trial against Palina Kabeshava and her husband Stanislau Kabeshau. On September 5, Judge Yuliya Krepskaya found them guilty and sentenced them to three years of imprisonment under home confinement. They were released in the courtroom.
