Natallia Padleuska was arrested on November 3, 2021 and taken into custody in pre-trial prison No. 8 on charges of “insulting the president and a government official” (Articles 368 and 369 of the Criminal Code).

On May 14, 2022, a trial was held in Bierazino, as a result of which Natallia was sentenced to 12 months of imprisonment in a general-security penal colony and a fine of 3,200 rubles.

On July 4, 2022, Natallia was released as she served her term in full.
