Cases: The Zeltser case
Natallia Kukishava was detained in connection with the Zeltser case (due to comments she made). She was accused of leaving a comment that was deemed "humiliating the authority, honor, and dignity of a person," specifically in reference to Aliaksandr Lukashenka.
On August 17, 2022, she was convicted by the Orša District Court under Part 1 of Article 368 of the Criminal Code. She was sentenced to two years' imprisonment.
She was included in the list of Belarusian citizens, foreign citizens, and stateless persons involved in extremist activities.
According to the calculations of human rights activists, she was released after serving the sentence imposed by the court.
