Natallia Karneyeva is an artist and teacher from Minsk. She was detained on August 19, 2022. According to preliminary information, Natallia is accused of ‘participating in group actions that grossly violated the public order’ under Article 342 of the Criminal Code for her participation in 2020 protests.

Karneyeva has two daughters, one of whom is underaged. The girl was sent to an orphanage for a while. It is known that the custody of the child was letter granted by a relative.

On November 2, 2022, the Zavadski District Court of Minsk considered the case of the political prisoner. Judge Zhanna Khvainitskaya sentenced Natallia Karneyeva to three years of restricted freedom under home confinement.
