Miraslau Fedarovich was arrested and remanded in custody in a pre-trial detention center on charges under Art. 369 of the Criminal Code.

The charges stem from a comment on the deaths of KGB officer Dzmitry Fedosiuk and an IT worker Andrei Zeltser.

On August 17 and 19, 2022, the Brest Regional Court considered the case. It is known that at the trial the man admitted that he had indeed written such a comment, but disagreed with the prosecution that his aim was inciting hatred, building up anti-state sentiments among the audience, and so on.

Human rights activists are clarifying the sentence. It is known that the man was released.
