On November 5, 2021, Mikita Zimin was sentenced to three years of restricted freedom in an open penitentiayr ("khimiya") after the Centraĺny District Court of Minsk found him guilty under Article 342 of the Criminal Code. He was accused of blocking traffic in Minsk on August 10, 2020. After two and a half months in custody, Zimin was released in the courtroom to wait for an appeal hearing.
