Mikita Stsiapurka is a defendant in the criminal case initiated by the KGB. He is charged of "attempted terrorist act" in Mačuliščy. It is alleged that through his brother, Andrei Stsiapurka, an apartment was found for the alleged perpetrator of the sabotage, Mikalai Shvets. Mikita is charged under Article 289 of the Criminal Code (an act of terrorism) and is currently being held in pre-trial detention center of KGB.
