Mikhail Hladysh was sentenced on November 20, 2020 by the Pieršamajski District Court of Viciebsk to two years of restricted freedom (so-called “khimiya”) under Art. 369 of the Criminal Code (insult of an official).

Hladysh was accused of insulting special police unit commander in a Telegram chat called "Viciebsk for Living".

In early February 2021, the convict was sent to serve his sentence in open correctional facility No. 39 in Krupki.
