Matfei Haurylenka was detained on December 21, 2021, after his apartment was searched.
After being in a temporary detention center he was transferred to the pre-trial detention center and charged under Article 342 of the Criminal Code (Group actions grossly violating public order).
On March 24, 2022, the court found Matfei guilty and sentenced him to two years of restricted freedom in an open-type correctional facility. The guy was released awaiting the commencement of the sentence.
