Maksim Puchynski is the deputy director of the Minsk Cycling Society NGO. He was detained on November 29, 2022 at work. Then he was taken to his apartment for a search, during which his phone and laptop were seized.

First, Puchynski was sentenced to 11 days of administrative arrest. Then he was transferred to remand prison #1 as a defendant in a criminal case under Art. 342 of the Criminal Code ('Active participation in group actions grossly disrupting public order').

On March 9, 2023, in the Centraĺny District Court of Minsk, Judge Viktoryia Shabunia found Maksim Puchynski guilty and sentenced him to two years and six months of restricted freedom under home confinement. He was released from custody in the courtroom.
