Maksim Pauliushchyk was detained for painting the phrase "We Will Not Forget" on a pavement near the memorial to Aliaksandr Taraikouski, who was killled during the post-election protests.

Maksim was charged under Part 2 of Art. 339 (hooliganism) and Part 2 of Art. 218 of the Criminal Code (intentional destruction or damage to property committed in a socially dangerous manner and causing damage on a large scale).

On December 8, the Frunzienski District Court of Minsk sentenced Maksim Pauliushchyk to two years in prison.

Pauliushchyk served his sentence in full and was released at the end of May 2022.
