On February 14, 2024, Maksim Nazarchuk, an architect, was detained during mass detentions and searches of architects. Nazarchuk was taken to a temporary detention center, where he was held until February 23. Following this period, an administrative case was brought against him, resulting in his placement in custody. After serving his sentence, he was released on March 8, 2024.

It is possible that Maksim remains a suspect under Article 342 (organization and preparation of actions that grossly violate public order, or active participation in them). However, there has been no trial under this article.
