Maksim Mychko was sentenced to 1 year of imprisonment under Art. 370 of the Criminal Code (Desecration of state symbols).

On August 29, 2021, the accused in this case Maksim Mychko, Yana Mileuskaya and Aliaksandr Bendz, while being drunk, tore down the state flag in the street, which Mychko then threw on the sidewalk. The accused were identified using CCTV cameras.

Maksim served his sentence in full and was released on 23 June 2022.
