Maksim Lebedzeu was convicted at Frunzienski District Court of Minsk for participation in several protests under Part 1 of Article 342 of the Criminal Code (group actions that grossly violate public order). At the trial, he pleaded partially guilty. The court sentenced him to 18 months in a penal colony, although the prosecutor asked for 24 months.
Maksim has been in custody since 15 February.
