Maksim Khvashchynski was detained on February 26, 2024, the day after his return from Poland.
He was initially convicted under Administrative Article 19.11 (distribution of extremist materials) and subsequently charged with Article 361-1 of the Criminal Code (creation of an extremist formation). It is alleged that he was involved in the creation of the extremist formation Babruisk 375.
Maksim is currently being held at prison No. 4.
