On January 30, 2023, Maksim Yarashenka was found guilty under Part 1 of Article 130 ('Incitement to other social hatred'), Article 369 ('Insulting a government official'), and Article 391 ('Insulting a judge') of the Criminal Code, and sentenced to 18 months of imprisonment in a general security penal colony.
