Liudmila Ramanovich was detained on April 4, 2022, then placed in pre-trial detention center. The reason for this was the letter Liudmila sent to the Investigative Committee.
A criminal case was brought against her allegedly for “insulting the president” (Article 368 of the Criminal Code).
On June 15, 2022, the trial of a political prisoner began in the District Court of Malaryta. Prosecutor Mikhovich requested that a 57-year-old political prisoner be sentenced to a general-security penal colony for 18 months. Judge Volha Smirnova passed this verdict on June 20, 2022.
