Kiryl Kanapatski was sentenced on November 23, 2021, by the Mazyr District Court to 3.5 years of imprisonment in a penal colony for ‘participating in group actions that grossly violate the public order’ and ‘resisting police officers’ (Articles 342 and 364 of the Criminal Code).

He was released from prison on April 1, 2024.
