Kanstantsin Salamiyuk was arrested upon his arrival in Belarus in October 2023 under Article 369 of the Criminal Code (insulting a government official). Salamiyuk is a programmer from Brest who recently moved to Poland. 

On November 8, 2023, a video was published on a Telegram channel associated with Brest GUBOPiK, in which Kanstantsin admitted that he had made several insulting comments on the internet and that he had been arrested for that.

On February 14, 2024, his criminal case was considered by the Maskouski District Court of Brest. The trial took place in the building of Brest pre-trial detention center. The case was presided over by Maryna Skalkovich, and he was sentenced to two years of imprisonment.

He was pardoned and released on September 16, 2024.
