On April 25, 2022, Yury Bielski was found guilty under Part 1 of Article 342 of the Criminal Code (organization and preparation of actions that grossly violate the public order or active participation in them) and sentenced to 18 months of imprisonment in a general-security penal colony. This was the term requested by the prosecutor.
According to the calculations of human rights activists, Yury should have been released in early 2023.
