Yury Hladchuk is the special projects editor of the Avtobiznes marketing media. He was arrested on June 16, 2022, after a search. Later it became known that he was transferred to a pre-trial detention center as a defendant in a criminal case under Art. 342 of the Criminal Code ('Organization and preparation of actions grossly disrupting public order, or active participation in them'), and Art. 368 of the Criminal Code ('Contempt of the president of Belarus').
On December 5, 2022, the Frunzienski District Court of Minsk announced a guilty verdict on Yury Hladchuk—two years and six months in a penal colony.
