Yuliya Yesis (previously Yuliya Katsenia) was detained on March 31, 2022. First, she was sentenced to 15 days of administrative arrest, and then she was re-arrested as a defendant in a criminal case on 'group actions grossly disrupting public order' (Article 342 of the Criminal Code).

On July 20, 2022, the political prisoner was sentenced to three years of restricted freedom with a referral to an open-type penal facility. She was released in the courtroom.
