Yauhen Shuliuk was arrested on November 9, 2021, on charges of committing the offense of slander against Lukashenka under Part 1 of Article 367. On February 8, 2022, Yauhen began serving house arrest.
On March 16, 2022, the Smarhon District Court found Yauhen guilty and sentenced him to two years and six months of "khimiya", which included restricting his freedom and sending him to an open-type correctional facility.
On April 14, 2022, he was transferred to open correctional facility No. 46.
He was added to the list of individuals involved in extremist activities.
