Yauhenii Rahutski had been under house arrest for almost a year before the trial. It is also known that he was detained in March 2022 and kept in the TDF for a post on Telegram.
On October 24, 2022, he was found guilty under Article 342 of the Criminal Code (active participation in group actions that grossly violate public order) and sentenced to 24 months of imprisonment in a general-security penal colony.
