Yauhen Pak was taken into custody on November 15, 2021. He is facing charges of insulting Aliaksandr Lukashenka under Art. 368 of the Criminal Code.
On December 27, 2021, judge Maryia Alifiaruk sentenced Yauhen Pak to 1 year and 6 months of restricted freedom in an open penitentiary. Yauhen was released in the courtroom.
According to human rights defenders, Yauhen was supposed to be released in September 2023.
