Yauhen Nareika

Yauhen Nareika was detained on January 20, 2022.  He was charged under Part 1 of Article 366, Part 1 of Article 342, and Part 1 of Article 130 of the Criminal Code for his comments regarding employees of internal affairs bodies.

Yauhen Nareika was sentenced in a closed-door trial to four years of imprisonment in a medium-security penal colony.

He was pardoned and released on September 16, 2024.
