Yauhen Korzhal was arrested on August 11, 2021. He was accused of throwing a wooden door near police officers beating and kicking a person lying outside an apartment building.

His actions were described as “threatening to use violence” against police officers in order to “obstruct their lawful activities in revenge for the performance of their official activities” (Article 364 of the Criminal Code).

On November 11, 2021, the Frunzienski District Court of Minsk sentenced Yauhen Korzhal to two years in a penal colony.
