Yauhen Kalpachyk is a defendant in the Brest "dancing protest" trial opened after the events of September 13, 2020, when the protesters danced at an intersection and were dispersed by a water cannon.

Kalpachyk was charged under Art. 342 of the Criminal Code (active participation in group actions that grossly violate public order).

On February 25, 2021, the Lieninski District Court of Brest sentenced Yauhen Kalpachyk to 1 1/2 years in an open correctional facility ("khimiya").

Kalpachyk served his sentence in full and was released on December 3, 2022.
