Yauhen Kalenda was detained in Brest for publishing comments on the Internet in connection with the deaths of IT worker Andrei Zeltser and KGB agent Dzmitry Fedasiuk.

Yauhen was charged under Article 369 of the Criminal Code (insulting a government official).

       On June 20, 2022, the KGB put Yauhen on the list of "persons involved in terrorist activities".

 

The political prisoner served his full sentence and was released at the end of August, according to human rights defenders.
