Ivan Rahatniou was detained in Minsk for publishing comments on the Internet in connection with the deaths of IT worker Andrei Zeltser and KGB agent Dzmitry Fedasiuk.
At the end of August 2022, the Minsk Municipal Court found Rahatniou guilty of ‘inciting hatred’ and sentenced him to 19 months of imprisonment in a general-security penal colony under Article 130 of the Criminal Code.
