Ivan Parshyn was detained on November 19, 2021, in the criminal case of insulting the president (Art. 368 of the Criminal Code) and inciting hatred (Art. 130 of the Criminal Code). The reason for the case was Ivan's posts on the social network VKontakte.
On May 22, 2022, Ivan was sentenced to two years of imprisonment.
