Ivan Kuliashou was detained on April 26, 2022, as part of the criminal case of group actions grossly violating public order (Article 342 of the Criminal Code).
He is being held in a pre-trial detention center.
On 23 June 2022, a criminal case of a political prisoner was heard in Frunzienski District Court of Minsk. Judge Yulia Krepskaya found Ivan Kuliashou guilty of active participation in one of the unauthorized protests in the post-election period in Minsk and sentenced to three years of freedom restriction in an open-type facility. Ivan was released awaiting the commencement of the sentence.
