Ivan Bahdzevich was detained by riot police on October 19 in the village of Rybcy, Puchavičy district. He was charged under Art. 293 of the Criminal Code (participation in mass riots in Minsk).
On June 23, 2021, the Pieršamajski District Court of Minsk sentenced the political prisoner to two years in a general-security penal colony. He was found guilty under Part 1 of Art. 342 of the Criminal Code.
Ivan served his sentence in full and was released from prison on May 2, 2022.
