Illia Bulye was detained on December 6, 2023. He was charged with participating in a protest action in 2020 (Part 1 of Article 342 of the Criminal Code).
On March 1, 2024, Judge Anastasiya Achalava sentenced him to two years and six months of restricted freedom under home confinement ("domashnyaya khimiya"). He was released from custody in the courtroom.
