Illia Duben from Zhlobin (Gomel region) was sentenced to 24 months of restriction of freedom with a refferal to an open-type penal facility for participating in a protest rally in 2020 (Article 342 of the Criminal Code). The decision was made by the judge of the Zhlobin District Court Natallia Kachalava on August 4, 2022.
The Gomel Regional Court considered the appeal of the political prisoner against the sentence on October 5, 2022.
