Ihar Pastukhou is from Fanipal, Minsk region. He was arrested in August 2022 as a defendant in a criminal case under Article 342 of the Criminal Code (‘Organisation of or participation in group actions grossly disrupting public order’) and placed in a detention center in Dziaržynsk (Minsk region).

He was accused of blocking traffic in Fanipal in 2020 by walking down the road during a protest.

On February 2, 2023, the trial began in the Dziaržynsk District Court. On February 21, Judge Tatsiana Fiadchuk sentenced the political prisoner to 12 months of imprisonment.
