Ihar Artsiukh was detained in Minsk for publishing comments on the Internet in connection with the deaths of IT worker Andrei Zeltser and KGB agent Dzmitry Fedasiuk.

On August 4, 2022, he was sentenced in the Minsk Municipal Court to three years of imprisonment. The 37-year-old man was found guilty under Article 130 of the Criminal Code (incitement to hatred).
