Hleb Hatouka is a 21-year-old resident of Minsk. On December 31, 2020, he was sentenced by the Kastryčnicki District Court of Minsk to four years in prison for the events of July 14 under four articles of the Criminal Code: Part 1 of Art. 342 (organization of group actions that grossly violate public order), Art. 364 (violence or threat of violence against a police officer), Part 2 of Art. 363 (resistance to a riot police officer), and Art. 435 (evasion of military conscription).
Hleb was accused of taking part in a spontaneous rally after two of the most popular alternative presidential candidates were denied registration. He allegedly kicked a riot police officer, Aliaksei Misiuchenka, and disobeyed senior riot police lieutenant Dzmitry Chernik, as he evaded conscription for fear of contracting the coronavirus when in the army.
In November 2021 it became known that Hleb had been transferred from penal colony No. 1 to prison No. 8.
He was released on March 25, 2024.
