Halina Lahatskaya is an activist and pensioner.
She was detained on April 9, 2024, when she went to the Kastryčnitski District Police Department of Minsk to pick up her phone, which had been taken from her two years ago and never returned. In March 2022, Halina was sentenced to 15 days of arrest for distributing leaflets entitled "No War." This was deemed to be "unauthorized picketing." The police informed Halina that they were prepared to return her phone and invited her to the police department.
